Western end of Markarian's Chain

An early image with this camera, on the learning curve. First thing I learned, longer exposures are needed to take advantage of its 16 bit dynamic range. I left up an earlier image similar to this, obtained with the Canon Xsi. It has about the same level of detail but exposures with the Orion camera were only 2/3 as long.
