No More Lulu
I have decided to stop selling my imagery through Lulu. I recently received five new calendars, all with major printing flaws. Their offer of compensation was slow,
grudging, and inadequate. I do not wish anyone to experience these difficulties on my account.
This is the second time I have had problems with a Lulu order - the first involved hefty overcharges for printing and shipping some posters, which were resolved satisfactorily.
To be fair, the problems arise from third-party printers; Lulu is just an internet portal. But this only makes such problems more difficult to resolve. In addition, Lulu has stopped
printing posters, which makes its usefulness to me much more limited.
I will therefore try to find a local printer for my products, which should make it easier to monitor the quality and resolve problems before
they affect my customers.
